St. Peter’s College created another major upset as they brought down the unbeaten Trinity side 15-13 in a thrilling Singer Inter-Schools Under-20 League Rugby Tournament second-round match worked off at Bambalapitiya on Saturday (29).
The Peterites after their stunning win over Isipathana College in a first-round fixture put up another giant killing performance as they collected their points from one goal, one try and one penalty.
Trinity of course took the initiative as they built up a close 8-3 lead at half time but some crucial mistakes cost them the match as they responded with two unconverted tries and one penalty.
